Shoes of Prey

Spring 2017

Shoes of Prey was a women’s fashion footwear brand that sold direct to consumer. The brand gave customers the option to select their own colors, materials, and monogram/personalize their shoes.

I was asked to design a small capsule of women’s sandals for their Spring 2017 collection.

The brief was to create a group of every day sandals with a modern feel.

I was inspired by the soft and hard lines of different buildings, bags, and furniture. I liked the idea of having scallop detailing that felt unfinished, and uneven through the upper pattern. I envisioned soft wavy lines with more defined, straight, architectural lines.
