Emily in Paris

Over the weekend, I was looking for something to watch while I paint. I needed something light, and easy. I stumbled upon Emily in Paris on Netflix. I was a little worried as watching an early 20 something year old take photos of herself is not something I can relate to. However, the adventure in Paris sold me. The best time of my life was when I lived in Barcelona so I thought let’s see how this goes.

Let’s just say I binge watched all the episodes in two evenings. My painting sessions went a little slow because I had to pause and watch it.

Emily in Paris is actually what the title is about. Emily scores the opportunity to go to Paris because her boss gets pregnant, decides to not take the job, and sends Emily instead.

After moving to Paris, the adventures of her life begin as an American trying to fit in with the challenging Parisians. She wants to fit in at work, and does whatever she can to adapt.

My favorite parts of the series, is the fashion. Emily is not my style but I love seeing what she wears, and how everything in her life in social media ready. It’s fun to see the American fashion vs the Parisian fashion.

What drew me to the series is that it’s set in Paris ( or at least I hope it is and not a set at Fox). I loved seeing the city.

I don’t want to spoil it for you so I’m going to stop with divulging more about the series

I just wanted to mention this film for those who are looking for something light during this challenging time in the world.

Hope you enjoy! If you’ve seen it, tell me what you thought below?!
