Lavender Hues for SS23

Pre- covid, attending Lineapelle, was something I did at least once a year. My last Lineapelle was in Milan October 2019. Since then, attending shows or traveling to factories is something many are not doing.

I was so happy to attend the Lineapelle Trade Fair in NYC this January.

It was a small show, and the energy seemed off a bit. Nonetheless, it was nice to see other designers, colleagues, factories I work with, and most importantly view what’s happening in leathers in textiles globally.

The consistent color theme at the show appeared to be Lavender hues for SS23. You can see some video here.

Love brown and creams with lavender and the various pastels. It’s very warm, and stylish.

I created a few color boards based on the leathers I saw at the show. I am loving lavender with various greens. The vibrant contrast is so playful and gives a whole different meaning to lavender which feels like it gives a spring, easter, super girly vibe. The green allows for lavender to feel more edgy.

I also love lilac hues for Spring/Summer 2023. Never really thought a monochromatic lilac color palette could look so chic.
